Le Petit Souffle

Le Petit Soufflé

Le Petit Soufflé is a French – Japanese bistro which offers an array of comfort food at a whole new level. The restaurant is pretty and the food that they serve does not disappoint. I’ve been to France and I can say that Le Petit Souffle has this french al fresco cafe vibe, but indoors.

The place was very inviting rather than intimidating.

My Momskie ordered their Squid Ink Rice and she was raving about it all the time. Kim ordered the same thing because they didn’t want to share the goodness! Hahahaha Seriously, it was that good (according to them) that they didn’t want to break each other’s heart on who gets the last bite. I never gave it a try, I’m allergic to seafood! (Boo! 🙁 )

Squid-ink Rice (P395) – very similar to Arròs Negre but with scrambled eggs and a medley of seafood on top.

I ordered their Crispy Ramen Chicken and it was amaziiiiing!
Can you guess what breading they used? Did You say RAMEN? Man, you’re good! Hahahaha

Cripy Ramen Chicken (P355)

Crispy Ramen Chicken (P355) – tender and boneless chicken cutlets breaded with shoyu ramen on a bed of cabbage slaw served with mushroom duxelle rice.

The Crispy Ramen Chicken’s not on their menu but the service attendant showed a few pictures of their “specials” on her iPad.   I was told that this dish used to be on their regular menu, and it quietly disappeared… now it’s making a comeback!  🙂

What I liked?

  • the ambiance of the place, it takes you elsewhere pretty and cozy
  • food – tasty yet affordable; bang for your buck
  • service attendants were pleasant

What I didn’t like?

  • they don’t have their own toilet, you have to use the mall bathroom LOLx
